Hold fast. Heal together.

Our Mission

Deliver rank-blind, judgment-free, clinically informed community care to military spouses and partners—before, during, and after deployment—so no one carries the homefront alone. Our founder, Patricia Sandoval, built HomeFront Haven™ from a simple truth she kept hearing: “I’m supposed to be fine—but I’m exhausted, anxious, and alone.” She envisioned support that lasts longer than a moment—care that feels like a friend, works like a plan, and’s grounded in real expertise.

We meet you where you are and stay long enough to matter.

  • Before deployment, Anchor Circle™ offers a private pre-community with a matched buddy and practical mind–body–sleep tools tailored to you.

  • During deployment, HomeFront Renewals™—in-person, multi-discipline retreats launching Spring 2026 in the Hampton Roads area—restore calm, energy, and sleep based on your pre-survey.

  • After homecoming, The Steady Year™ keeps your cohort together with an Anchor Guide™ who checks in, hosts small-group touchpoints, and ensures reintegration doesn’t happen alone.

We track what spouses say matters most—better sleep, lower stress and anxiety, stronger belonging, smoother homecoming—through pre/post measures and quarterly check-ins. Programs remain free for spouses thanks to grants and private donors who underwrite cohorts, scholarships, and expansion. If you’re holding down the homefront, you belong here. Hold fast. Heal together.

Meet Patty

Our founder, Patricia “Patty” Sandoval, is a proud milspo and public health professional. She built Home Front Haven after experiencing mental health struggles during her husband’s last deployment in 2023. During that period, Patty found that there was a critical need for evidence backed care focused on supporting positive mental health outcomes among milspo.

During the deployment, Patty kept hearing “You knew what you signed up for” and friends would reassure her that she’d be “ok.” When in reality, Patty found herself exhausted, anxious, and feeling incredibly alone. To ensure that others wouldn’t have to experience the same journey, she sought to create a model where community care could prevent crisis care. She envisioned
support that lasts longer than a moment-care that feels like a friend, works like a plan, and is

Our Team.

Meet the people behind Homefront Haven™; military-connected leaders and civilian allies working side-by-side to strengthen service members, spouses, and families. Different skills; one mission: practical care that moves with the realities of military life.
